The Inaugural Address

This is the first of (hopefully) many entries into this fine blog. The goal of this blog is simply to provide me a place to write things down I care about, have opinions on, or are relevant to me and to my life. A place where I can discuss music and which of the Beatles is clearly the best (Jake, it's Paul and you know it), where I can discuss recent news, and where I can have a good time getting my thoughts on (digital) paper. It is also a chance for anyone who cares to come, read what I have to say, hopefully enjoy it, and perhaps respond. I am new at this, so please bear with me as I start this up. Here's to a successful term as blogger, something our President can't exactly claim about his term. Here goes nothing. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your I can do for you—ask what you can do for me. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what I will do for you, but what I can do for the freedom of man.
