Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed

While filming a documentary in Australia, beloved "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin was killed after a stingray stung him in the chest. The ray's barb apparently hit him in the heart. He was 44 years old.

It's really sad to see such a good guy (regardless of how you feel about him taking his baby into a croc pen) that cares so much for animals and nature go like this. It's too bad.

Since he was in Australia, he is reported as killed Monday morning, but for us in the states, it was earlier tonight. Read the article here.
