Lyrics of the Day: WINNER! (plus Quiz #2)

My lyrics contest has an official winner. It's been a whole 6 days, and I've gotten 2 responses (which I appreciate so much, you don't even know). The official winner is Jacob G. Speicher, my roommate. After I compiled this first round of lyrics, I figured he would win because this kind of music is right up his alley. Now, even though he cheated by using Google, he still notched one more correct answer than Brett, so he is the winner.

Here are the correct answers:

Lyric #1: The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
"Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies."

Lyric #2: David Bowie - Space Oddity
"This is Ground Control to Major Tom
You've really made the grade"

Lyric #3: Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain
"Someone told me long ago theres a calm before the storm,
I know its been comin for some time."

Lyric #4: Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
"She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories."

Lyric #5: Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone
"Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didnt you?"

Thanks for playing. Hopefully I can get a few more people to respond to this next quiz.

QUIZ #2! This one might elicit a few more responses. I am going to post 5 movie posters with the title and credits blacked out, and your job is to tell me which movies they are from. Same rules as last time, just comment, but hopefully this time you will be less likely to CHEAT JAKE! and anyone else who plays. I discourage it. Without further ado, here you go:
