Dear Red Lion Patrons

Recently, I stayed at the Red Lion by the Portland Convention Center, as you all have, being the patrons I'm writing this letter to. The room was nice, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was a pleasant one. However, there is something that I had a problem with. I would just like to come out and say it: please, stop leaving your small children behind! What kind of parents are you that you so frequently check out of this hotel without your small children that you need to be reminded to check for them with this sign like you do your razor or your cell phone charger? ''Oh, you know what honey? I think we left little Tommy at the hotel again.'' Maybe the Red Lion should advertise this: ''Constantly leaving you small children in hotel rooms? Aren't we all. That's why I stay at Red Lion hotels. Red Lion Hotels: We'll remind you that the crying lump laying on the floor in the corner that smells like poop is your child.'' Thanks for no longer being absolutely incompetent.
