The iPod Doesn't Even Have To Be On!

Recently, I wised up here at work and started bringing my iPod. The work is pretty mindless, especially for a college kid, so I take refuge from the monotony in any distraction I can get. Naturally, my iPod is the perfect remedy. But, as I've said before, there is a beauty to the iPod that has never been advertised, promoted, or even listed in the specs. That beauty, my friends, is the ability to ignore anybody at any time. I am not referring to anyone in particular that I work with, this is just a general trait in offices, but there's that small talk that's always either a complaint or something, or it's a comment I don't care a lick about. So, even though I keep whatever it is I'm listening to at a volume low enough to hear everyone talking, with my trusty earbuds in my ears, if someone says something to me, I just won't respond, and they have to assume I must not have heard them. Oh
how great that is, you don't even know. On that note, anyone got any good podcast recommendations?
