The Fountain

So, my roommate Ryan showed me this movie trailer 2 or 3 months ago, and it really sparked my interest. I looked into it, and that's when I really got excited for it. The movie is called The Fountain, it's directed by Darren Aronofsky, the guy who did Requiem for a Dream (one of Ryan's all time favorite movies by the way), and it stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. They finally released a poster for it.

Now I'm even MORE excited to see it. I won't say anything about it now, because it's all speculation at this point, but look to see it released sometime later this year. Watch the trailer.

Hugh Jackman has a hell of a career going right now. Another movie he's making that also looks awesome (besides Wolverine, the next announced X-Men movie) is The Presitge. Aside from Jackman, it also stars one of my favorite recent actors Christian Bale (Batman Begins). It is directed by the guy who did Batman Begins and Memento. It does not have a poster yet, but here's the trailer. It looks very promising.
