Florida: National Champions

Congratulations to the University of Florida Gators for winning the 2006 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Now we can all look forward to Joakim Noah, the Florida big man who had a record 6 blocks tonight and is also one of the ugliest guys in the league, showing up on the front page of everything tomorrow. It was a decent game, nothing too exciting though. So, while Florida proved to be the strongest team in the nation this March, they weren't supposed to win. Or at least that's what over 1.5 million people that participated in ESPN's Tournament Challenge thought. According to ESPN, only 1% of the participants picked Florida to win it all. Also, out of those 1.5 million people, only 4 of them chose the Final Four correctly. Of course, George Mason was the ultimate bracket buster this year, as only 1,853 people picked them to reach the Final Four. I know my bracket was stalemated even before the Final Four rolled around. Too bad, that $10,000 would have been sweet. Anyways, congrats the the Gators, now bring on the baseball. Go Braves!
