Hero of the night

Although Aaron Brooks scored 31 points to lead us past the Cougs 77-74, Maarty was the key to the win, hitting 2 clutch free throws with no time left on the clock in regulation to send the game to OT. He was 0-7 from the field when he stepped up to the line, but he knocked them both down. He hit one 3 in OT to finish the night with 5 points, but who cares 'cause he had arguably the two most important points of the game. Way to go Maarty. The Ducks are now 19-2 headed into February with UCLA at UCLA up next. Hopefully we can run the table and head to the tourney, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Check out the box score for tonights game here. GO DUCKS!

An amazing barnburner of a game. The Cougar comeback at the end was chilling. GO DUCKS!!

Hope all is well.

All is well, but mostly because the Ducks pulled it out tonight. Otherwise, it'd be a pretty crappy night. My mood lives and dies with the Ducks this season.

I know what you mean. Thursday night was not fun, but it emphasizes how crucial Brooks is to this team, and means this year IS the year.
