The Importance of Straws

Now that I get up at 6:30 every morning, caffeine has become a good friend of mine. I don't like coffee, I rarely drink tea because I never think to bring a bag, and soda is cheaper anyway, so I have yet again fallen off the soda wagon. I've tried to stop before, but it's just too delicious. Especially in 44oz barrels. But lately, something has become very clear: aside from the soda being flat or something, the straw will make or break your drink. The worst things that can happen to your drink, barring all major catastrophes, are all straw related. Maybe the straw breaks coming out of the package, causing suction problems, or it's too thin so it takes forever to take a drink, and even closes up on you if you try and drink it too fast. Now, there are some places, like Subway or McDonalds, who totally get it. McDonalds has always been the best. They have thick, wide straws that can stand anything, but there are still some that don't, and it makes me realize the true importance of straws.

Kroen, yes that's normal. It's so that I don't get spam comments. I hate it too...
