Ducks go to the Big House
I don't know if you remember this, but last weekend Michigan lost to Division I-AA Appalachian St. You do remember? Oh good! Well, the ramifications of that loss are enormous, especially for the Ducks. Not only did last weeks #5 ranked Michigan violently drop in the polls like George Bush's approval rating, but they also recieved less votes this week than both Oregon and Oregon St. What?! So now, instead of Oregon getting pumped up to play a top 10 team, they go into Michigan as the poll favorites? Michigan is still favored to win by most, but we would have rather been the absolute underdogs. So now, we go into Ann Arbor to face a super pissed off and embarrassed Michigan team that will come out with something to prove. It also doesn't help that we beat them the last time we met. Great. As you may gather from the countdown calendar I made at work, I'm real excited for Ducks football this year, but even the most rabid Duck fans have to be going into Saturday bracing for an ass whooping.
