Dark Knight Sequel Poster

First, don't get too excited. This is a fan-made poster. However, it still gets me a little excited for the next one! There's speculation that the Riddler will be the next villain (hence the question mark), but nobody knows for sure yet.

But after the Joker, a PHENOMENAL rethinking of Nicholson's version, who do you think would be a good villain for the next movie, and who would you cast? Let me know in the comments.

I heard a really cool idea: Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's daughter. In the comics she was a villain that really challenged Batman and got to Bruce Wayne at the same time.

I don't think she could carry the movie herself though, like The Joker. I would like to see her paired with someone classic like The Riddler

I love the idea of random characters mixed with classic ones. I think the Riddler would be fun, but I want to see another rethinking of that character. Someone not so "loony" like Jim Carrey's version. I think Christopher Nolan can do that in his sleep.

Yeah Ra's al Ghul's daughter would be good, it would show continuity. But after Maggies preformance I have my doubts that a women could step out of the shadow of Neeson or Ledger's shadows.

I don't think I could take the penguin, poison ivy, or mr freeze seriously in this new era batman.

I think Clay-face might be another good choice. But please no more CGI, I thought they probably should of got away from CGI with Two face, it looked pretty tacky.
If anything Ledger's Joker demonstrated how far make up can go.

I'm not sure how important the villian will be in the next film. I'd expect a more textured preformance from Bale to highlight the movie.

I want to see Batman deal with the grey areas raised in this second movie. Could Batman commit murder to save Gotham. If no, could he live with himself if he didn't?
